House Plant Ideas

You can find houseplants in a variety of foods that you buy from the store. About a month ago I bought some avocados because they do not grow in my region. I had read that you can grow an avocado as a houseplant. It will not produce fruit because it is not hardy here, but it can make a beautiful tree, house plant in your home.

I simply took the seed out of the avocado I bought and soaked it in water for a week. I then planted it in potting soil. Two weeks later it finally sprouted! I gave it a good rinse and planted in back in potting soil. I am anxious to see it grow into a beautiful plant!
